| Dear Janet, Thank you for your generosity to Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas. The food you sent from Ki's Restaurant on April 3rd was a welcomed treat during a very stressful time for our team. I have been a nurse for many years, and I know that food is one of the most appreciated gifts. The health of our staff is a top priority and your gift has contributed to their wellbeing, thank you. We are prepared and ready to provide exemplary care to our community during this pandemic, while keeping our staff safe and healthy. The response of the community to stay home and observe social distancing is very much appreciated, and the best way to stay healthy. When the community goes above and beyond in recognizing our health care teams, as you did, the infusion of positive energy and increased camaraderie among staff is palpable. Your thoughtfulness and kindness is the best gift for us right now. On behalf of all the staff at Scripps Encinitas it is my privilege to say thank you!
